Spotting Tip

These face away from correct traffic flow, so you'll only see one head-on if you're briefly confused at a highway ramp — otherwise you might catch one from an angle at an exit ramp.

Fun Fact

Wrong Way signs are deliberately posted at a driver's eye level and paired with a matching Do Not Enter sign a bit further down the ramp — two chances, at two different distances, to catch a wrong-way entry before it becomes dangerous.
